Brandeis University will likely operate as usual on Tuesday with regular class schedules, following its closing from Hurricane Sandy on Monday. The storm pummeled the East Coast with heavy rains, flooding, wind gusts and left more than 300,000 Massachusetts residents without power as of 6:30 p.m.
“We anticipate the university will be open as usual tomorrow with a full class schedule,” Bill Burger, a university spokesman said this evening.
Dining halls are operating on a normal weekly schedule and free pizza will be served on campus at the Stein at 9 p.m. this evening.
