One third of returning Brandeis Windows users have at one point or another used an epitaph to describe former Network Administrator Rich Graves after he kicked their virus-ridden computer off the network. Yet Graves actions were necessary and have kept the Brandeis network secure and connected.
At the beginning of each semester, buying books is one of the most important priorities for Brandeis students. While some students rely exclusively on the Brandeis bookstore, it seems that more and more are flocking to alternative establishments, including online stores. Buying books is always an expensive endeavorone that an Amazon.com or a local used book store can make a little less painful.
Heller overseer Charles D. Baker will not run for the governorship of Massachusetts on the Republican ticket, despite his previous speculation that he would. This may imply that current Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney will seek re-election and not step down at the end of his term as had previously been rumored.
A representative from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has stated, on condition of anonymity, that since [the] lawsuits began in September 2003, [the RIAA] has sued eight individual users on the Brandeis system. Five have settled, and three are still pending. The three that are pending were sued in during the latest round of law suits in May. ITS refused to divulge the alleged user or users identities.

The Brandeis University Womens Soccer Team is already deep into preparation for the season, having started the fall preseason on Friday the 26th of August. All their hard work is setting them up for their home opener against MIT on Gordon Field tomorrow at 1pm. The team brings back 16 returning veterans, including 6 starters: captains Lauren Gregor 06 and Rachel Koffman 06 as well as juniors Brittany Douglass, Christine Fulton, Melissa Gordon, and Lisa Kaplin. Gregor and Kaplin combined for 28 goals during the 2004-05 campaign.
Every year around late May in the suburb ten miles west of Boston, known as the Watch City, over 800 young men and women depart for bigger and better things. Some will be doctors. Some will be lawyers. Very few, if any, will be professional athletes.

There comes a time in every students life when he has to ask himself, Where is the tunnel at the end of the classroom so I can go down it and try to find the light of a job and steady salary at the end that I probably wont even be able to see until Im 68 and still paying for my now-deceased grandparents social security backpayments?
The endless days of basking in the sun on a beautiful beach;
these are the moments that remind people of those glorious months of summer. Yet, Im not one of those people;
I tend to burn whenever I go to the beach. This doesnt bother me at all, because I still enjoy summer as much as the next person. What I love about summer is something I love every day of the year: music. For me, summer provides the ability to see almost any band in concert, discover new bands, and just enjoy it all.
