Good Old Brandeis

If youre at all like me, then youve probably been discouraged by the lack of astounding parties offered here at good old Brandeis. Youve probably found yourself muttering phrases like Why do I even bother going out here anymore? and My little brothers middle school throws better parties than this place. The lack of quality night life has probably even caused you to disregard the fact that picking your nose in front of your classmates and wearing the same tie-dye t-shirt everyday to class is unacceptable. On the surface, while these negative notions do appear to be valid thoughts and opinions to express, is the answer really to concede to the fact that there is a shortage of fun-happenings around campus and to throw on a bright yellow backpack with an abundance of animal key chains attached to the pockets? While this might be the route that many of you choose, I feel as though it is vital for your personal well-being to come to the realization that you need to accept and welcome the opportunities that you are presented with and that there is, in fact, a lot of fun to be had both on and off of Brandeis campus.

Private Practice should lose license

Apparently ABC has never heard the saying, too much of a good thing. Which is surprising, considering thats what I found myself thinking multiple times this past Wednesday as I watched the series premiere of Greys Anatomy spin-off, Private Practice.

The Sexual Enlightenment of Bradley Jacobson

Officer Jacobson knew that in order to earn the respect of the other cops on the force, he would have to successfully receive oral sex in his squad car. But not just any blowjob would do;

no, it had to be with speeders, preferably young girls rendered malleable with the threat of a multi-hundred dollar fine. Stories of these accomplishments, or speed-sucks, as they were known, were swapped most mornings in the locker room, before the morning briefings. Jacobson was always painfully conscious of his silence.

Lupe questions

Now that the hype of the 50-Kanye clash has somewhat died down, it may be time for cooler and weirder things. Im talking about rapper-turned-skateboard pop icon Lupe Fiasco, of course.

Why we like old, stupid things

I like Transformers. A lot. In fact, a few of you might say that I have an unhealthy love for those plastic robots that came to Earth in the 1980s in order to beat each other up in front of us.
